Privacy Policy
Most privacy policies describe what a company does with your data. This one is mostly a list of things that never happen, because the software is built so they can't.
The application
ArchiveMind makes no network connections. Not to us, not to anyone. There is no telemetry, no crash reporting, no update phone-home, no account, and no cloud component. This is not a setting you have to find — the application contains no code that talks to the network, and our test suite fails if any is added.
Everything ArchiveMind learns about your files — names, metadata, extracted text, thumbnails, search indexes, visual-search data — is stored in a catalogue file on your own disk, readable and deletable by you at any time. Your files, and every fact about your files, never leave your computer.
Licenses
A purchased license is a signed file we email to you. The application verifies it mathematically, on your machine, with no server involved. We keep the record of the sale (who bought which license); the application never reports back who is using it, where, or on what.
This website
This site is static pages: no analytics, no cookies, no scripts, no external fonts, no embedded third-party anything. It is served by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived connection logs (IP address, request path) to run the service; we add nothing on top and operate no tracking of our own.
Purchases
When purchasing opens, payment will be handled by a payment provider acting as the merchant of record. They process your payment details — we never see card numbers — and provide us the information needed to deliver and support your license: your name, email address, and what you bought. We use that information for exactly those purposes and nothing else. We do not sell or share customer information.
If you email us (beta requests, support), we keep the correspondence so we can help you. That's it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the change will be visible in this page's text — there is no data collection to quietly expand. Questions: magicdominik@gmail.com.
